Catching the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox | REVIEW!!!!
Synopsis:
Settling down and starting a family is something Diesel has considered, regardless of his one-night stand reputation. However, he just might be single forever since who he wants is off-limits-- his best friend's little sister.
He's been in love with her for years, but betraying his friendship could ruin everything.
Rowan Bishop is over men, especially after finding out her boyfriend cheated and left her heartbroken. After graduating from college, she's back home and has to face the one guy who purposely gets under her skin-- her older brother's best friend.
She hates that she's attracted to him, but she's willing to fight for who she wants.
Spending time together is a bad idea, but neither can deny the chemistry sizzling between them. Late night talks turn into spontaneous adventures and just when Rowan's willing to admit how she truly feels, Diesel's past catches up with him and ruins their picture perfect romance.
One secret turns into another and before either can grasp their new reality, more truths unravel-- threatening to expose their forbidden relationship.

My Review:
Another Kennedy Fox story in the books. I loved it. I loved being back in the Bishop World. Catching the Cowboy tells us the story of Diesel and Rowan. If you have not read the Bishop Brother's series, ya might want to before reading these. They can be read as standalones but I do think the experience is better and you will understand and appreciate the story more if you read these books in order, starting with the Bishops then move into the Circle B Ranch books.
The Circle B Ranch books are the second generation Bishops, the kids. I loved Riley and Zoey's story in Hitching the Cowboy and loved this one just the same. I knew Diesel was going to be a great character when you are introduced to him in Riley's story. At times it very much gave me a Travis and Viola vibe because it is the best friends little sister. Different world but definitely gives some King and V vibes.
Diesel and Rowan have had a thing for each other since they were kids. As they got older, they kept their feelings aside out of respect for Riley. But failed relationship after failed relationship, they realize that what their doing just isn't working, trying to hid their feelings and decide to let go of holding back. It was a wicked cute, fun fast read. I loved watching their story unravel. Kennedy Fox is one of those perfect authors to read when you need something with a little more of a light fare.
I enjoyed their story so much, being back in the Bishop world and seeing the whole Bishop clan. There is one scene with Jackson, I stopped and messaged Amber because it was so funny, it had me in tears and she loved Jackson. It brought back memories of the days when we were reading their stories and loving them so much as well. It's been two years! Hard to believe. You can one-click Diesel and Rowan's story now. It is LIVE to the world.
5 Owls!
