Missed Connection by K. Larsen and Mara White | Bodacious Books and Baubles Signing

Yesterday I attended the Missed Connection by K. Larsen and Mara White signing at Bodacious Books and Baubles in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, which is about a 25 minute drive from where I am. Bodacious Books and Baubles is an Independent Bookstore that sells Local and Independent authors as well as other well known published authors but specializes in the Indies.

I met K. Larsen last summer at a signing there for her latest book Jezbel. We had a great time, she was awesome! The beginning of this year, she has released a new book but this time around, she has co-written a book. She was introduced to Mara White online, talking about life and everyday things... Then that Missed Connection Craigslist post hit the web and something clicked in K's head. She started it all with one chapter, wondering and wanting to continue this story. She sent it to Mara and from there it's history. They wrote Missed Connection within a month!

Here is the original post.

I met you in the rain on the last day of 1972, the same day I resolved to kill myself.
I Met You In The Rain On The Last Day Of 1972

The signing was so much fun and it was amazing to hear K. and Mara's story. This signing meant a lot to all of us because not only did everyone love this book but it was the first time K. and Mara met in person. They live in different starts and keep contact through email. It was awesome to be there!

We also got some exciting news... K. and Mara are currently writing a new series together.

Killing The Sun will be a Serial Novel that will be releasing in three parts this summer, each part releasing just three weeks apart, so there won't be a long wait between each part. The Pre-Order links will be going up May. 10th and each book will .99 cents until the release day.

Not only did I get to meet Mara for the first time and see K. again, but I also got to see Christa Cervone again! Which was awesome! She was there supporting her fellow Indie Author! It was an awesome time and I can't wait to meet up with them again!

Twenty years weren't enough for either of them to forget.

A chance encounter, a missed connection.

Two wayward stars that collided in a turbulent sky, at the right place, but at the wrong time in both of their lives.

What happens when they meet again? Do the same unforgettable sparks still fly?

Titan Jennings and Jesenia Van Buren may come from two different worlds but their hearts are open to second chances. No matter who or what may stand against them, love is what anchors their lives together.

Love may be infinite but time is not. Missed Connection is a novel about making the very best you can with what little you've got.
