Discussion: January Wrap Up- Romanceopoly- Slump. HELP!

Do you believe it is already the end of January?! One month down into 2020 and to be honest, it hasn't been the best first month into the new year.

This month I have finished four books. Not the best at all, I have done way better than that. I finished two audios and two ebooks. Since before Christmas I have had a hard time with my reading. Everything I pick up and start I cannot get into to. They all start off slow and don't hold my attention. A book should grab you from the start and carry you along the journey. I am in the weirdest slump! Some nights I don't even want to read because I start to read and whatever it is, it doesn't hold my attention. It really sucks because I feel like I want to read but nothing is doing it for me.

My first challenge was read an age gap romance and for that I chose Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas. I do have an IGTV video up on my thoughts. I have since rolled the dice for my second challenge. My next challenge is to chose a book from the creators Book Girlfriend list. So for this challenge I have chosen Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid. 

I have yet to start it but I have been reading a little at a time. I need to get out of this slump! Fingers crossed something snaps this curse in February.
