Truly Mine & Truly Yours by Kennedy Fox | REVIEWS!!!!!

 Synopsis:

The night we met in the dimly lit bar, she looked like a brunette bombshell, and I wanted to learn her deepest secrets. With sun-kissed skin and soulful bedroom eyes, she was pure temptation, and I was mesmerized.

As one drink led to two, I craved more of her playful banter and taunting lips. Resisting her wasn't an option, and we quickly became a desperate mess of tangled limbs and hot kisses. She tasted like the sweetest sin, but I was no saint.

Once we caught our breaths, and it became obvious that meeting her wasn't a coincidence, everything changed. Now I must deny her at all costs.

Friends. It's all we can ever be.

After years of lying to myself and keeping her at a distance, I want to pull her close. Sophie's on my mind more than ever as my instincts to protect her take over. Regardless of my attempts to help, she pushes me away and makes it clear she doesn't need me.

I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe, to show her I'm the good guy, but one night takes tragic turn for the worst when her boyfriend and I start throwing punches.

And ends when I'm arrested for his murder.

Review:

What an ending!!!

Sophie and Mason. Mason is not the alpha I hoped for but he has a major soft side to him and I love it.

Sophie and Mason meet in the first duet of the series through her sister and his best friend but this book start off with when they first meet before Sophie realizes Mason is her sisters boyfriends best friend. Their story starts off with a bang. It pulls you you back to when they first meet and is parallel to Lennon and Hunters story.

I loved seeing how they meet but it comes to a point where I wanted it to move along a little faster. We all know how Kennedy Fox can be, when they have a story to tell, they tell the shit out of it. But when we get halfway through the book, I was getting antsy.

I think this is the most twist and turns I've seen from Kennedy Fox in a book. It will mess with you. The ending... it gets to a point where you know something isn't right but it still has that shock value.

As much as I want to give it a five star, because I mean come on, it's Kennedy Fox... I just feel the first half of the book could have been a little shorter. I was getting antsy and there were times that Sophie was a little annoying. I get that they both have pasts, Mason a serious one, he has a right not to trust people. He tells her not to trust people so openly, she does and it gets her into trouble. It's like he was right the first time, why wouldn't he be this time.

But I love them together and I cannot wait to see where their story goes in their next book.

Synopsis:

I knew within moments of meeting Mason Holt that he would change my life forever.
I just didn't realize how much.

As my world spirals out of control, he continues to stay by my side, protecting and taking acre of me Being just friends is all he's been able to offer, that is until both of our lives are threatened. Now that our relationship is blossoming into something more, I can't be what he needs even if I wished I could. Bad timing strikes again.

When I think we can finally be together, someone threatens to tear us apart. I'm not the same girl Mason met three years ago, but I'm determined to fight for what I've always wanted-- him.

Review:

This one was a bit different from the norm. In the past there has been some crazy drama and action in a couple of their books but this one took it to a new level. The start of this book was crazy and something I never expected from Kennedy Fox. It picks up right where the last book left off.

I love Mason and Liam! They are no game. Don't you mess with the people they love. They will come after you, just like they did for Sophie. I love Mason and how he does everything for Sophie. She goes through some dramatic stuff and has a hard time copping with it. It is understandable and Mason backs off and gives her the time she needs to heal.

I do have to admit this duo of friends does remind me at times of the Checkmate clang. But these men don't have the biggest alpha vibes as the original three. As much as I have enjoyed Hunter and Mason, they are not Travis and Drew.

My reason for four foxes instead of five is that I feel like it was a little slow in the middle. The beginning was so action packed that when it did slow down, I wanted more.

There is a nice little shocking moment at the end that you don't see coming. But Mason and Sophie are a sweet couple, they are really cute together. I do have to say, that ending left me wicked excited for Liam and Maddie's story. I have a strong feeling shit between them is about to hit the fan!
