REVIEW: 4 ⭐

I have been waiting not so patiently for this book for what seems like forever. The novella that started Caden and Brighton's story, The Prince, was one of my favorite books in this series. I was definitely happy to finally read The King because I needed answers.

This book picks up pretty much where The Prince left off. The angst is real, my friends, and I felt for Brighton. At times I thought my heart was going to break for both Brighton and Caden. My Kindle didn't fly, but it came close a couple of times. There were parts of this book that were so intense. I was rooting for Brighton so hard through the whole book.

I kind of saw the ending coming, but it was still shocking and ripped my heart out and put it back together. Now starts the long wait for The Queen, coming sometime in 2020!
