Douchbag: The Lying Hours by Sara Ney | REVIEW!!!
Synopsis:
ABRAHAM DAVIS-- Honest Abe to his friends-- IS IN OVER HIS HEAD...
He's a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident "grandfather" on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning-- whether he likes it or not.
Abe's current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app-- without getting caught in the lie...
SKYLAR GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.
Over her bad grades. And over dating douchbags. What she wants to know: where have all the nice guys gone?
She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists-- Skylar turns to LoveU.
On her worst day, Skylar has no filer (it's a miracle she hasn't been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she's as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis's roommate.
Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy-- she just doesn't realize it yet.
Why?
BECAUSE ABE DAVIS IS A LIAR.

My Review:
Another funny read college read from Sara Ney. I love these books. They always have a nice flow to them. Easy, funny, fast-paced reads. What I love about this one is that it does delve into the pros and cons of online dating and the ups and downs that young people face today with these dating apps. This story proves it perfectly, how catfishing is a thing... Even though this does not go that deep into a catfishing type of story, but if the author wasn't careful, it could have easily gone that way.
I love Abe but I didn't care for JB. He was a whiny baby but that is how his character is suppose to be portrayed. He brings the dramatics. But Abe, he is like a big teddy bear! Skylar isn't a bad female character... but Hannah is a riot! She is a great side character.
I read this book fast! Read it in a few days. That is fast for me, I am a slow reader. When I was reading, I didn't want to stop. But the reason I am giving it only four stars instead of five is I feel the ending fell a little flat. The characters had their HEA but I expected something a little more than what I got. It was a cute ending and I love the characters together, but it just kind of ends when I wanted something a little more.
With that being said, it was overall a good book, a great book for someone heading to the beach for the day. It is a light, fast read that will leave you laughing and your heart racing for some more of Abe. He is a beast of a man with a heart of gold.
