Hotshot Doc by RS Grey | REVIEW!!

Synopsis:
Dr. Russell has a bad reputation around our hospital. The scrub techs say he's cold-blooded, the nurses say he's too cocky for his own good, and the residents say he's the best surgeon in the world-- really, just a swell guy!-- on the off chances he's within earshot.
I try to avoid him and his temper at all costs. It's just as easy to admire his sexy, grip-it-while-he's-ravishing-you hair and chiseled jaw from a healthy distance, preferably from the other end of the hallway... half-hidden behind a plant.
Unfortunately, my plan crumbles when my trusty ol' boss decides to swap his white coat for a Hawaiian shirt. His retirement leaves me with two terrible options: switch specialties and spend months retraining, or take an open position as Dr. Russell's surgical assistant.
That means I have to stand near him in the OR for hours on end and anticipate his every need without letting his biting words and bad attitude intimidate me. Oh, and as if that's not difficult enough, my silly crush on him-- the one I've tried to stomp on until it disappears-- might just be reciprocated.
It's fine.
I'm fine.
I take my job seriously. There will be no smoldering bedroom eyes across the operating table, no angry almost-kisses in the supply closet. (Well, no more of those.)
What's the phrase? An apple a day keeps the doctor away?
Maybe I should go for a whole damn bushel.

My Review:
OMG! Dr. Matt Russell!!! He is freaking completely swoon worthy! He might send off signals that he is a hard ass but don't let his hard exterior fool you ladies, he has a heart of gold! He is my new RS Grey book boyfriend!
I cannot gush about this book enough. I have read a few amazing RS Grey's this year. Earlier in the year I read Arrogant Devil and I was so in love with Jack, I didn't think anything would beat it. But damn, RS Grey proved me wrong.
I could not read this book fast enough, I couldn't get enough of it. It completely consumed me. When I wasn't reading, I was thinking about it, thinking about how I couldn't wait to get home so I could turn on my Kindle and pick up where I left off.
These characters were so amazing. Lately, some of the books I have read, the main females sends mixed signals and are wishy washy... but not Bailey, honestly, never ever has an RS Grey main female character been like that. Bailey was such a strong character and so was her main male, Matt, who honestly makes her even stronger. They are both such strong characters and they just feed off each other. They are so perfect together, they make each other stronger and completely complement one another!
I love Bailey's home life. She is a women who had to become an adult a lot faster than anticipated and even when it sucks, she makes the best of it. And her sister is a freaking hoot, you can see that right off the bat when she is bugging Bailey to get out and date.
This book was so perfect, even the supporting characters were amazing. These characters have a past, and because of it they have a hard time letting anyone in. But when they are pretty much forced to work together, they start to drop their walls without even noticing it at first. I seriously cannot express how much this book wrapped itself around my heart and didn't let go.
This is seriously a top book of the year for me. RS Grey is amazing. If you have read anything by her or go follow her, then you should be able to see herself a little in Bailey. I am excited to see what the new year brings for her and I have my fingers crossed that maybe one day we will get to live in this world again.
5+++ Owls
