The Right Stud by Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise | REVIEW!
Synopsis:
As soon as Mr. Tall, Blond, and Handsome walks into that bar, I know he's the hook-up I need to get over stupid Cheater Kyle.
A few stolen kisses in a dark hallway, and I'm pretty sure we're headed for a home run-- until he disappears without a trace.
Whatever. Men are all snakes in the grass, and I don't need a new one anyway.
I resolve to forget about his perfect lips, (and chest of steel) and instead focus on turning my Granny's old beach house into a profitable B&B.
What I don't expect is for him to show up the next day in my kitchen.
You see, my sexy mystery man is none other than Jax Roland, the drop-dead gorgeous home improvement star of The Right Stud, and he's got an offer I can't refuse.
With a suitcase in one hand and a hammer in the other, he wants to move in and renovate my old house while he films his new show.
But my roommate has secrets, and they threaten to rip our blossoming friendship-- and possible love-- apart.
When push comes to shove, is Jax really The Right Stud or is he just another nail in the coffin of love?

My Review:
Holy shit! I loved this book! I read it in the matter of a few days. I don't know what it is about these HGTV like books, I freaking love them. Well, I am a lover of HGTV. There are nights where that's all my husband and I watch.
Ashton wants to fix up her late grandmothers house but with her brother being co-owner of the house, he doesn't want to go through the hassle of the old and outdated house and tries pushing her to sell, but she refuses to give up, for many reasons. That's when Jax arrives on the scene. But there are a few things that he leaves out about himself, which causes drama between Ashton and Jax.
The chemistry is undeniable! Right off the bat the chemistry melts off them. I love that it is so intense, when they first meet, they are both on a date with someone else, but the chemistry is just off the charts and they both knew it right away. Over the last year I have been loving these HGTV type books, starting with the Carey Heywood series The Fix Series!
There is one scene right at the beginning that I know for a fact that Tia wrote. It just screams her. If you have read any of her other books, you would know exactly what I am talking about. It is a scorching scene and oddly enough, I read the scene sitting in Starbucks, having a coffee.
Another awesome read from Tia Louise and Ilsa Madden-Mills. These two authors write so well together. At first I could tell the writing apart, but as I read further along, it became harder and harder to tell the writing apart. Louise and Mills have an excellent flow together, they are two minds who become one when they write together.
5 Owls!
