My Review:

Boring! Damn, I hate saying that... but boring.

I am highly disappointed with Easton's story. Reading Easton in Reed and Ella's storyline was much better, but now that I have read Fallen Heir, I wish Easton never got his own story. It changed the illusion I had of him from the previous three books.

With Reed and Ella, the situation's they were in were very more adult. They were teenagers that had to act on adult consequences, they were young adults living in an adult world. Easton is just a teenage boy, acts like a kid when he tries to think he's an adult when he's not. Easton is very swallow. He thinks fighting, booze and money will solve all his problems. He has no grasp on reality. He is the middle child, his actions cause him to look like he is a little boy starving for attention.

Hartley is boring and wishy-washy. She has reasons for why she is the way she is and she does open up a little but she is way too closed off, it's hard to understand where she stands in all this.

Reed and Ella were so complex, Easton fell very flat, I had high hopes at the beginning but as I continued, I lost hope. Then the last two pages happened! At 96% I didn't see where this was going, wanting it to end so I could move on but at the same time wished it would give me something, and then I read the last two pages, giving me the something I needed to suck me back in. They are insane and leaves you on a major cliffhanger.

January can't come fast enough, even though it is a week and a half away. Hopefully we get the next book soon.

3 Stars.
