MY REVIEW:
This is the first book I have reviewed for Clarissa since last year. She did not disappoint! Father has become one of my favorites by her, if not my favorite. If you have not read anything by her, I can recommend a couple, Father and Bad Teacher! LOVE THEM!

Frank does not give a shit about his life and his well-being. He gets into bar fights, talks shit about himself. With the kind of past he has, he gave up on having a good life long ago. Now, I will warn you, if you have never read anything by Clarissa Wild, don't expect the funny, happy, sappy, love story, Clarissa is all about the Dark Romance and she does it very well. Her men are always the fighter, alpha male type and Frank is very crass, he just doesn't give a shit!

With the very dark past he lived, a once gang member, he lost everything. He is now a drunk preacher that shows up for sermons late and half the time drunk, until he meets a pretty young lady one day during his sermon. That completely changes everything for him, even bringing some of his past back along with her to haunt him, causing him to want to get revenge. But along with that revenge comes a serious connection to Laura, the pretty young women from church who turns his world upside down in more ways than one!

If you liked Raw by Belle Aurora, you will enjoy Father. I did. I read through it quick! Clarissa Wild can write the shit out of some dark romance and she is good with reflecting an alpha male! Frank is alpha male approved! I don't know if there will be a second book, but I hope there will be. I am not done with Frank, I feel like he has more story to tell. The past always comes back to nip you in the ass, and I feel like Franks past isn't quite done with him yet. We will see.
