Discussion | Kindle First

In the last few days I have been seeing and hearing a lot of this book... The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison. For a few weeks I have seen this book on the home page of the Kindle Store but never thought to really take a look at it.

Then after hearing people talk about it in the last few days, I decided to click on it. I then noticed that it hadn't released yet... it is releasing, literally, tomorrow, June. 1st 2016. There was two different Kindle prices, $1.99 on Kindle First or $3.82. I was like, "Kindle First." I kind of remembered hearing about it before but didn't really know much about it. My first thought was, "How much is it going to cost me?"

NOTHING!

The Kindle First program gives Kindle First members the opportunity to download one of six editors' picks a month before the official publication date, either for free or at a reduced price. New titles are announced at the beginning of each month.

I subscribed for FREE and downloaded The Butterfly Garden for just $1.99. So now, every month, I will get to chose one book that isn't even published yet for a reduced price and read it before most anyone else. I find this to be a glorious thing! I am excited for this and can't wait to see what the next month brings.
