NSAS 2016! | What an experience!
This post is long overdue considering the North Shore Signing was two weeks ago... but life always gets in the way.
So, this was the third North Shore Author Signing. This was my second year attending and let me tell you, it was a blast! I met so many amazing authors and caught up with some I had already met from the previous year and love. This is such a well organized signing and well loved. The ladies at TalkBooks and All Is Read work their asses off all year long to make this signing such a success and a success it has been!
I met so many great authors and some amazing ladies there attending the event. I didn't want it to end. I met Clarissa Wild and had an amazing conversation with her! This was not only her FIRST EVER signing but it was also her FIRST TIME EVER in the States. She came all the way to Boston, Massachusetts from the Netherlands! And not only that, but she came all the way in a wheelchair due to a broken foot. But she still made it and was so surprised so many people wanted to meet her, talk to her and buy her books. I was so happy she had a successful first signing. It was amazing to talk to her about books and family.
I finally got to meet Carey Heywood in person! For the last two years we have been talking back and forth on Instagram and we finally got to actually meet! I freaking love her! She is a great author and an amazing person and I can't wait to meet up again! Watch my Instagram for more to come from Carey Heywood and myself.
The Heidi McLaughlin table was freaking RIDICULOUS! It got so crazy that tickets were handed out and when your number was called was your chance to get over to her table and get your books signed. On either side of her was LP Dover and BT Urruela signing books as well. That corner was out of control!
I met a lot of amazing people! This signing is something that people can't wait for. They are already talking to authors for next year, so if you are interested, check out the North Shore Author Signing's Facebook Page.
These are pictures I was able to get. I had a great freaking time and I can't wait until next year! Watch for news coming soon for NSAS 2017!
