Shout Out Sunday | Independent Book Stores | Wicked Good Books- Salem, MA
Tonight, I want to talk about one of my favorite book stores, Wicked Good Books, in one of my favorite places, Salem, Massachusetts!
Wicked Good Books is an independent book store in the center of town of Salem, Mass. This store has much history! It wasn't always a book store!
This is the store back in the 1960's, way before it was Wicked Good Books, it was Ben's Smoke Shop. But they do it is a little credit, the store did sell a few books and magazines! This building goes back 200 years!
This is the front of the store during Halloween! I have been up there during Halloween! The weekend right before in 2014! I loved it and had a blast!
I took this picture when I was up there with my fiance last April. I was there for the 2nd annual Boston's North Shore Author Signing in Peabody. My fiance and I drove into Salem, had dinner at The Lobster Shanty and walked the town! I grew up in the western part of the state, I love Salem and hope to someday live closer.
If you are ever in the area, stop in! I love this place and the people are awesome!
