What I'm Reading | Jan. 23rd, 2016

At the beginning of the week I *FINALLY* finished Wildflower by Jessica Prince. *My review is already posted* I loved it and I am excited for the next book in this standalone series by her.

I have a handful of ARCs to read and it took me a good day to decide what I wanted to read next. So I decided on YOU by Caroline Kepnes. Since I have an ARC of Hidden Bodies, the next book in this series, and it releases soon, I want to read them and have my reviews posted in time for the release of HB.

I am not a fast reader. I like to take my time with books, I like to enjoy them and pace them out, I feel I get more out of them. So far I have read the first chapter of YOU. It is very different from what I have read in the past, but a good different.

One of the ladies I follow on Instagram is currently reading it too and I am excited to write to her to know what her thoughts and feels are as well, since we are reading it at the same time. If you don't know what this book is about or want to know more, I will have the synopsis down below. Watch for my review soon!

*Me with my copy of YOU*
Synopsis

When a beautiful, aspiring writer strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he Googles the name on her credit card.

There is only one Guinevere Beck in New York City. She has a public Facebook account and Tweets incessantly, telling Joe everything he needs to know: she is simply Beck to her friends, she went to Brown University, she lives on Bank Street, and she'll be at a bar in Brooklyn tonight--the perfect place for a "chance" meeting.

As Joe invisibly and obsessively takes control of Beck's life, he orchestrates a series of events to ensure Beck finds herself in his waiting arms. Moving from stalker to boyfriend, Joe transforms himself into Beck's perfect man, all while quietly removing the obstacles that stand in their way--even if it means murder.
