How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days | Book Tag
I watched this tag video on Bookworms Talk with Hannah on YouTube. Her and a friend created this tag together. I love this movie a TON and had to do it! As Hannah says in her video and I completely agree... This movie has WAY too many awesome one-liners for it not be made into a tag! They are the first to EVER do a tag for this film. I hope you all join in! It's going to be lots of laughs!
So here we go with the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days book tag! (Hannah's video will be linked below)
1. "Seriously, I am mystified because it always starts off so well."
Which book's plot did you start off liking but disliked by the end?
This was a tough one because it is rare if I don't like a book. And by no means am I saying I didn't like this book or the author because I ADORE this author... but Djinn and Tonic by Jasinda Wilder. I was so shocked when I read this book because the first book in this series I LOVED! It completely captivated me! I couldn't put it down. But Djinn and Tonic, I was so looking forward to it! It follows two characters from the first book but I just wasn't captivated in these characters like I was with Jack and Djinn.
2. "You shut up or my boyfriend will come over and pummel your ass."
Which two alphas would you like seeing battling it out?
I am going to say Rory from Breaking A Legend by Sarah Robinson and Cage from Cage by Harper Sloan. I love these characters so much! I think that Cage will give Rory one hell of a fight!
3. "Do you want everyone to know your love making is lame?"
Which love scene in a book were you disappointed or underwhelmed?
I think some people are going to be mad at my answer for this, but Naked by Raine Miller. I liked this book but I didn't find myself as excited for the sex in this book as I was for others. You know when you are reading a hot and heavy sex scene and your body is all tense, I didn't get that feeling for Naked. Sorry Ethan Blackstone.
4. "You only dated the guy a week."
Which two characters fell in love in an unrealistic amount of time?"
Twilight! As much as I LOVE Twilight and it is a huge part of my young adulthood, she fell in love way too fast! It was so unrealistic, plus the whole vampire part, but that aside, vamp or not, real love isn't like that.
5. "Eww, take it away before I gag."
Which book did you dislike so much that you couldn't even finish it?
I could not finish Femme Fatale by Kirsty-Anne Still. I could not get into this book to save my life!
6. "Come on, blow, no one likes a mister sniffles."
Which book gave you the worst case of the ugly cries?
I don't cry much. It takes a lot for me to cry but I am going to have to say The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn. If you have not read this book! Go NOW! It is so freaking funny! But what happens toward the end with Rosie and Henry and the way he treats her, I was so sad I cried.
7. "I love you binkie, but I don't have to like you right now."
Which fictional character frustrated you the most often?
Sebastian from the VIP series by M. Robinson. I love this series but he just couldn't make up his mind at times. It had me going like, come on already! But I still love him!
8. "The whole family suffers from tourettes. I hope that's not a problem for you."
Which character did you find yourself talking aloud to?
Hawk from Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley. Damn, he is a hot character. He always had my mind going with the things he said in that book. He is an alpha without a doubt and will having you talking to yourself a lot.
9. "Saving the world one shopaholic at a time."
Which are the most books you purchased at one store?
Well, I mainly read from my kindle, it just makes life easier for me. I love my kindle. The most I purchased on it in one time was I bought the whole Sinners on Tour Series by Olivia Cunning. This was last April, the whole series was on sale $2.99 from $7.99. I couldn't help myself. In a store, I mostly shop at Barnes and Noble, the most there I would have to say 5 books.
10. "Little big, little big, I don't know, we will find out."
What are the biggest and smallest books you own?
The biggest is The Host by Stephenie Meyer and the smallest is Corduroy by Don Freeman.
11. "You're a freaking one women circus Andy."
Which book had the most confusing plot?
I am going to say Bang by E.K. Blair. I understood it but at times it was like, What the hell is going on?!!!
12. "I know a therapist who would work wonders on you Benjamin."
Which fictional couple do you think would end up in couple therapy?
There are definitely a few but I am going to go with Vanessa and Phoenix from Stalker by Clarissa Wild! What a fucked up couple!
13. "I'm hearing a lot of latent anger here Benjamin. Rageaholic!"
Which protagonist had the worst temper tantrum?
Travis from Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire! He destroys his apartment in a tantrum!
14. "There isn't a diamond in the room who sparkles like a women in love."
Which book character has your favorite cover art?
I have not read this book yet but I love the cover for The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. It just suits that book so well!
15. "Call him in the middle of the night and tell him everything you had to eat that day."
Which couple was so gushy you couldn't stand it?
I want to say at the last book in the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy, 50 Shades Freed. They both get so soft and gushy. This was my least favorite of the trilogy.
16. "Our love fern, you let it die."
Which couple fought over the silliest things?
Elizabeth and Landon from Doing It For Love by Cassie Mae. Their fights were so silly at times! But it was funny!
I hope everyone does this tag and loves this movie as much as I do!
