** Blogger Note: I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.**

When Adam walks into an audition at a modeling agency in the desperate search to find a job, he feels out of place being surrounded by all these other guys who for some of them, this is their dream job.

When Adam’s path crosses Solo, one of the girls who works for Teeg Model Management, sparks fly when Adam finds himself being rubbed down in baby oil by Solo. They instantly connect, finding out they have so much in common… Star Wars being the major common attraction, hence Solo’s name.

When Adam finds out he got the job, he signs a contract and moves into a house on the Hills with the other man models of the company. But Adam still finds himself out of his comfort zone, not ever thinking this would be the thing he’d be doing but it pays well and he seriously needs the money. Adam’s connection with Solo remains and he seeks comfort at the house from Solo.

When things get serious, Adam and Solo find themselves in a situation they never thought would happen. Secrets come out, trust gets broken and all hell breaks loose.

This is the second book I have read by Meghan Quinn. I previously read The Virgin Romance Novelist earlier in the summer. Newly Exposed is on opposite lines of the spectrum than The Virgin Romance Novelist. Solo is a hardcore Star Wars fangirl. Being raised by two gay dads, who named her after their hero Hans Solo. When Adam meets Solo, she is like his dream come true, being a HUGE Star Wars fan himself. When they are together their inner nerds come out, which they can act like that with very few people, so to them it is refreshing, giving them that instant connection.
Solo steals Adam’s heart in a whirlwind! He finds himself falling for this quirky hipster girl fast and hard.

I did enjoy this story but I did have a few problems. Adam starts the book out being this young nerdy and a bit corny guy to being this HUGE sex symbol. His character takes a quick 180, his feelings for Solo never differ but he goes from being this big nerd to being the new face of Teeg Model Management and it puts a kink in his and Solo’s relationship and not because of Adam.

The ending left too many open questions for my liking. I feel like the ending was rushed and it closed out so fast that I still had questions. I don’t know if there is going to be a second book and if this is going to be a series but I have so many questions that were left unanswered, which made me drop my rating.

When I think back when I read The Virgin Romance Novelist, I laughed out loud more while reading that book more than Newly Exposed. I think Rosie was a more funny character and Solo was a little more uptight and straight forward. I did enjoy Newly Exposed but I did find myself at times not being able to relate to the characters.

Meghan Quinn has a way of letting the tension build up nice and slow to the point where you feel the tension almost just as much as the characters you are reading about. I felt the same why when I read The Virgin Romance Novelist.
