#TBRTakedown reading list

So, I have finally chosen my books for the 5 challenges! If you have read any of these books, comment below!

Challenge 1: Read a book that has been on your TBR for over a year.

I have chosen: Reasonable Doubt Vol: 3 by Whitney G.

Synopsis:

I hate him…

I hate that I fell in love with him, I hate that he didn’t love me back, and I hate the fact that I just made a life-altering decision just so I could get the hell away from him.

He’d always said that he was unchangeable, heartless, and cold…

I really should’ve believed him…

Challenge 2: Read a second book in a series that you have started.

I have chosen: Sweet Little Thing by Renee Carlino

Synopsis:

Ever wonder what happened after the final pages of Sweet Thing?

From his candid and sometimes neurotic point of view, Will tells all in this musical and sexy follow-up novella to Renée Carlino’s USA Today Bestseller.

Life is pure bliss for Mia and Will. They have a puppy, a loft in Brooklyn, and a new music studio on the rise. It seems things couldn’t get any better for this talented couple when life decides to throw them a sweet little curve ball.

They quickly learn that things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes happily ever after is one giant leap of faith away.
With the help of good music, good friends, and one eccentric old lady, they overcome a few of life’s little bumps to find the sweetest thing of all.

Watch this duo grow in more ways than one in SWEET Little THING.

Challenge 3: Read a first book in a series that you have not started.

I have chosen: Sweet Addiction by J. Daniels

Synopsis:

Wedding hookups never amount to anything.

Those who partake in this wicked little activity know the rules. Get in. Get laid. Get out. There's no expectation of a relationship. It is what it is.

Dylan Sparks knows the rules. She’s familiar with the protocol. And she engages in the best sex of her life with a complete stranger at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding.

Reese Carroll doesn’t care about the rules. He wants more than just one night with Dylan.

And Dylan finds him too addicting to pass up.

Sweet Addiction is the story of one woman’s struggle to keep things casual, and one man’s desire to never let her go.

**Warning: This books is recommended for readers over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.**

Challenge 4: Read a book out of your comfort zone.

I have chosen: Dark Places by Gillian Flynn

Synopsis:

Libby Day was seven when her mother and two sisters were murdered in “The Satan Sacrifice" of Kinnakee, Kansas.” She survived—and famously testified that her fifteen-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club—a secret secret society obsessed with notorious crimes—locates Libby and pumps her for details. They hope to discover proof that may free Ben. Libby hopes to turn a profit off her tragic history: She’ll reconnect with the players from that night and report her findings to the club—for a fee. As Libby’s search takes her from shabby Missouri strip clubs to abandoned Oklahoma tourist towns, the unimaginable truth emerges, and Libby finds herself right back where she started—on the run from a killer.

Challenge 5: Read a book from your most recent book haul... Or in my case one of my most recent one-clicks.

I have chosen: Echo by EK Blair

Synopsis:

The highly anticipated follow-up to Bang. Echo is the second book in the Black Lotus series.

It's been said the longest echo ever measured lasted 75 seconds, but I can assure you, this will last much longer. The bang deafened the world around me, muting everything into nullity, allowing the reflection of its destruction to live far beyond its intended life.

It will follow me forever, destroying me—destroying you.

You want answers?

So do I.

*Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.
