Jack and Djinn by Jasinda Wilder

Jack and Djinn Review:
Jack and Djinn follows a young women named Miriam. She works at a bar called the Taproom, rents the apartment above the bar from the owner and dates one of her co-workers, Ben.
She and Ben have been dating just about a year, but when he puts her in the hospital one night she decides she can't take it anymore and tries to break things off but he won't have that!
When she meets Jack, he turns her world upside down, pulling emotions from her that she never knew were there and when Ben finds out about Jack, it flips his lid and things go sour really fast!
This is such a unique story. Miriam isn't your normal women, she has something deep inside her that is trying to escape and when she meets Jack, he pulls it out of her with very little effort. She finds herself falling for Jack and tries to break it off with Ben but he won't have it and things escalate to the extreme.
I am going to warn everyone now, this book does have a lot of abuse in it. Please don't let that scare you away from this book because you'd really be missing out. A lot of people might harp on this book from the abuse aspects of it but you know what, it is something that occurs everyday... so why should we hide from it and not discuss it? This book brings attention to it! We need more of that!
This book is something so different from anything I have read in the past from Jasinda Wilder. She came out of her norm and produced a book that had me from page one. She wrote this story with a heavy heart and you can see it pour out of her with every turn of the page!
This is a paranormal, romance with a huge mystery thrown in there! Jasinda Wilder is a wonderful storyteller and I can't wait to see what else she has up her sleeve! Jasinda Wilder never fails me! NEVER!
