Hardwired takes place in Boston and circles around a young women fresh out of college... Erica Hathaway and her best friend Alli start an online company dealing with fashion. But when Alli gets a job offer in New York and decides to move, Erica is on her own to get the funding to keep her business going.

Erica finds herself in the biggest company looking for funding in all of Boston. When Blake Landon walks into her life, she finds herself and he company in jeopardy and in the hands of Blake Landon... Complete alpha male, control freak who finds himself falling for this women.

Meredith Wild has a brought a new writing style to the game. She is fresh and her alpha male is alpha but not completely over the top. As this book did remind me of 50 Shades in a few ways with Blake Landon's possessive ways but at the same time it is completely different! Blake caves, he has fallen for this young women and he lets it be known. 

The ending... It was hard to stop reading! I finished this book at 2am because I read right through the ending of the book. Erica's past comes in to play and it sets both her and Blake on edge. I loved it! It gave me some excitement to look forward to in book 2. I'm dying to know what happens! 

I really enjoyed this book... I went out and bought books 2 and 3 before I was even finished with the 1st book because I knew I was going to need to jump right into book 2. I'm glad I did because I was right. I have already started book 2. These books become addicting, so I suggest you have at least book 2 before you finish book 1. 

This series will be ending at the end of the year, from what I have read and seen from fellow readers and bloggers. I look forward to moving on with this series!
