I don't know what it is about this time of year, but it seems like August always pulls in to be the month where I read my favorite book of the year. Last year it was The Simple Wild by K.A Tucker, this year it is Hush, Hush.

This book is nearly five-hundred pages long, took me just a little over a week to read it. The first 15% was a little slow for me... but when it got started and I saw where this was going, I couldn't stop reading. Once it starts, it does not stop. The deceit, lying, cheating and some girl on girl. I was completely ENTHRALLED! When I wasn't reading this book I wanted to be reading. I couldn't stop thinking about it and was caught daydreaming about it at work!

I am pretty sure this was my first major age gap! Forbidden age gap and it was amazing! James is HOT! Sex on a stick HOT! He is a hot blooded ALPHA male every women will be left drooling over. I know I sure as hell was. James is PERFECTION and is one of my new favorite alpha males to date.

Now there are some triggers that some people might not like, but please do not let that set you off from reading this book. It was amazing and to be honest, I wouldn't change a thing about it. To some people it might be problematic but not to me, it is what makes the story. There is a major plot twist that happens that you do not see coming until it is right upon you! It throws a curve ball in this twisted storyline that is a delicious, devious surprise.

I spent a few late nights with this book, a few of them that left me VERY frustrated, if you know what I mean. There were times where I took my thoughts to my Instagram. I had to talk it out, get the sexual anxiety I felt off my chest. Yes, I said it, sexual anxiety because the scenes in this book are hot AF! There were times where I was left breathless, frustrated and numb from head to toe from the tension that ran through my entire body. This book left me feeling high, I couldn't get enough of James! I still think of this book a lot! 

I cannot say enough about this book. I want everyone to read it and as much as I know not everyone will love it the same way I do, I know it will not be everyone's cup of tea, I wish and hope everyone will read it, give it an honest chance because this book deserves it. Lucia Franco can write some sexy as sin scenes that will have you forgetting your own name. She has very easily climbed my list of one of my favorite authors. Lucia Franco is my new must-read author of 2019!
