Falling For The Playboy by Kennedy Fox | Review

Synopsis:
Never trust a man who gets paid to take off his clothes for a living and then uses it as a pick-up line to get girls in bed with him. That should've been enough for me to call in sick that day. I've worked with male cover models like him before and they're all the same-- smooth-talking, sexy as in, egotistical know-it-alls who think they're God's gift to women-- all traits I know to steer clear of. Assisting authors comes with many perks-- reading on the job, using my organizing skills on a daily basis, drinking coffee by the gallons-- but Maverick Kingston barges into my life and demands more than I can handle. When we're forced to road trip across the country together, he pushes every boundary I have and rearranges my thoughts on playing it safe. And when he "accidentally" drops his towel, he makes it very clear what he's offering and proves he's packing more than abs of steel under his clothes. Working with him was brutal, but falling for him was unexpected. And playing by the riles will be impossible.

My Review:
I know no one will be surprised when I say that I loved Maverick! I loved Maverick and Olivia's story! Surprise, surprise. I love anything Kennedy Fox writes.
This is the second book in the Bedtime Reads Series. Playboy follows Olivia, who was Vada's assistant in Bad Boy. These are standalone books, so you do not have to read them in order but as always, I suggest you do.
In Playboy, Olivia is the assistant to Rachel Meadows, New York Times Bestselling author. But she is a big B... hard to work for and likes to take advantage of Olivia. When Rachel's latest book releases, it is time for the book tour. When Rachel tells Olivia that she will be in charge of no other than Maverick Kingston, tall, dark and handsome cover model for Rachel, Olivia knows this isn't going to be good.
The relationship these two form over the two weeks they travel and work together is amazing. I loved it! Even when Olivia pulls back from Maverick and tries to keep him at arms length, you can tell they have a connection and when Maverick realizes it, he refused to let her go and pushes her buttons just to make her see what is right in front of her. Maverick is amazing. He is known for being a Playboy but in all reality, he really isn't, women just tend to flock to him. He has a connection to Olivia and knows she has something special and Maverick has a sad past that no one would ever realize on the surface.
I also love how Kennedy Fox brings the truth experience in what it is like to attend an author signing. How they write it, explain it, is exactly how it is! I loved reading the signing and hotel scenes because it so much reminds me of the amazing author events and the hot cover models I have met over the years. And I have had the pleasure of meeting two cover models that grace the covers of a couple Kennedy Fox covers!
Kennedy Fox did it again though! They always have a way of sucking you in to their stories. Funny, sad, emotional and empowering. This is a KF that you can read in one sitting and I don't doubt that anyone could or would.
