My Review:

Another awesome book from Ilsa Madden-Mills. The beginning of this book hooked me. It was interesting. I love the idea of the "I Dare You" concept and wish there was a little more of it. I loved watching the beginning of Delaney and her He-Man. To be honest, I loved it a little bit more before she found out who her He-Man was.

Delaney doesn't have the best luck with men. She was with her boyfriend of two years and found him cheating. That is no spoiler, you find that out in the first chapter. So when she starts getting these text from He-Man, she is standoffish and puts him to the edge, not ready to start anything new after her last relationship.

Somewhere around the middle it fell off a little for me. I found myself not as interested. Once she found out who He-Man was, the I Dare You kind of came to a halt. That's when the major drama starts and all the secrets and lies come flooding out.

Maverick is hot but he is no Blay brother. I still loved watching Delaney and Maverick. It was cute to see how he felt about her in their freshman year and how he waited for her, until they finally came together in their junior year, even though he doesn't say it, the rooms speak it clearly.

The pop culture references were awesome. Delaney is a little nerd girl and I love it. It was a nice pace watching the jock fall for the nerdy girl. He had fallen for her their freshmen year and pined for her for two years. Another cute story from Ilsa!

4 stars!
