Deliver Her From Evil by M.L. Steinbrunn | Review
***Blogger note: I am a part of M.L. Steinbrunn’s beta-team. I also received an ARC for honest review for the blog tour.***
This story is told from multiple points of view.
Carly… the ever loving stay at home mom, raising her toddler daughter. Jack, her husband, a successful lawyer who is away on business a lot.
When secrets come crashing down on what she thought was a happy, loving life, she is left to pick up the pieces of her splintered dreams and move on from what she thought would always be.
Campbell… the orphaned foster kid who doesn’t understand the meaning of love. It’s just another four letter word to her. Growing up she never saw what real love meant or what it felt like to be loved until she met her group of friends, who becomes like a family to her. When she tries to help Carly piece her life back together, things get ugly. There is where she learns the true meaning of the word.
I love working with M.L. Steinbrunn! This is the second book I have beta-read for her! I love being a part of her team so much because she really cares about what we think and our opinions. When I first started reading this, I knew I was going to love it… but I did feel like something was missing, an important piece of the puzzle. I emailed her and explained to her how I felt.
When I finished, I was in love. I felt this was the best writing I had seen from her. To me the best book in this trilogy. The ending, the character development, everything, I loved it. I loved watching these characters grow… especially Campbell.
I emailed M.L. again saying I had finished and how I felt. She told me she took my opinion and how I felt into her heart and added what I felt the first half of the book needed. I received an ARC copy as well because I had signed up for the blog tour. So I reread the first half of the book and was so happy! M.L. gave me just what I felt was needed! I was so happy and proud. Just that little extra scene made it that much better! It brought the story from great to amazing!
M.L. knows what she’s doing. She writes her characters as if she has experienced every little thing about them in her own real life.
I have very much enjoyed working with her, I look forward to more in the future. I know everyone is going to love this book just as much as I did. It will grip you from chapter one and not let go until the end.
5 Stars!
